Formation was released on the eve of Beyonce’s halftime show performance. Bey performed the song live on Super Bowl 50, for the first time. The song is one of the most gritty one by Beyonce with the theme of ‘Black Lives’ matter. The song begins with Beyonce standing on top of a car, surrounded by a town submerged in water, a reference to Hurricane Katrina. And it is just the beginning. The song refers to the Antebellum, Louisiana Creole culture and many gripping details in the video.
