The Ganesh Festival 2015 began on September 17 with the auspicious day of Ganesh Chaturthi. The 10-day festival that was started by freedom fighter Bal Gangadhar Tilak is popular all over Maharashtra, but it is especially important in the lives of Mumbaikars – the citizens of Mumbai. Why does Mumbai love Ganpati so much? Ganpati is the other name for Lord Ganesha, who has many other names to remember and revere him by.

In this vox pop, viral video maker Being Indian asks Mumbaikars what it thinks of Ganpati and why people love him so much. The cutest reason to love Lord Ganesha and the Ganesh Festival or Ganeshotsav is given by a kid who says that he likes the god because he eats laddoos (sweetmeat) just like him!
