NASA's new video will take you on a 360-degree tour of Mars!

National Aeronautics and Space Administration’s (NASA) newly made video will quench your thirst of the closest planet to earth, Mars. The video is a complete virtual tour of the red planet that gives a 360 degree view of the surface. The video thus makes the person watching the video feel that you are present on the planet. It is made by combingogether multiple still images.

“This view of the downwind face of ‘Namib Dune’ on Mars covers 360 degrees, including a portion of Mount Sharp on the horizon,” said NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory. The video was shot by the Curiosity rover’s Mast Camera and was taken in December last year and posted on Curiosity’s Facebook page recently. You can also drag the screen to either sides of to have a better view of the planet. The images were taken on December 18, 2015. (Also Read: NASA’s Mars-bound spacecraft lands in Florida for tests)

As NASA cannot sustain life on its surface, this video will tell you how the surface looks like.
