[NDTV Video] Ruskin Bond birthday: Walk the Talk with the renowned but reclusive author!

India’s celebrated author Ruskin Bond was born on May 19, 1934 in Kasauli. His parents were Edith Clerke and Aubrey Bond. A reclusive writer, Bond has stayed in the hilly areas of Shimla and Dehradun, and some time in Gujarat’s Jamnagar. But he has been in Mussoorie and Landour for a major part of his life. And this is where he got inspired to write his delightful stories, some of which have been made into movies by Vishal Bhardwaj like The Blue Umbrella and Saat Khoon Maaf.

On his birthday today, we share a video of Ruskin Bond in an exclusive and frank chat with The Indian Express Editor-in-Chief Shekhar Gupta on NDTV’s show Walk the Talk. Watch it here and get to know your favourite author and how his mind works!
