Spellbinding! Underwater dance performance by the differently abled at Cape Sounion

Majestic, is what these dancers are! This video by Mashable shows 14 dancers who performed an underwater dance sequence at Cape Sounion in Greece in September 2015. What’s remarkable is that many of these dancers are disabled and yet were brave enough to wear diving equipment and put up a great show. The performance was reportedly at a depth of 16 feet.

But not just the performers, the members of the audience watching the underwater dance too had to be certified divers in order to be eligible to buy tickets! So, only 40 people watched the show underwater. The rest either watched it snorkelling on the water or on a screen placed on land!

Mashable says parts of this unique performance will be presented in October as well, this time in the gardens of the Vorres Museum in Paiania in the country. Watch the story of the differently abled underwater performers!
