Search engine giant Google marked the Lok Sabha Elections 2014 Results day of May 16 with its trademark doodle. It was called the India Election Results 2014 Google Doodle, created to salute elections in the world’s largest democracy with over a billion people, with the electoral population at over 8 million voters. India’s election results are now out and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has won with a great majority – in fact, a record-breaking majority – to outright beat the dynastic politics of the Indian National Congress (INC).
The BJP’s Narendra Modi, who won the elections from the two constituencies of Varanasi and Vadodara, will be sworn in as the next prime minister of India in the coming week.
