In a shocking incident in Telangana‘s Medak district, a train and a school bus collided with each other killing 19 students from Kakatuya School. The bus which belonged to Kakatuya School was hit by the train at an unmanned crossing level when the bus was crossing the tracks at Masaipet Village in Medak district.

According to the police, the accident occurred at Masyapet in Veldurti Mandal of Medak district, about 70 km from Hyderabad. The Nanded-Secunderabad passenger train hit the vehicle, when the private school bus of Kakatuya School was was crossing the unmanned gate, taking the students to the school located at Toopran as the school.

Earlier it was reported that twelve people, including eleven children, were killed and 16 others seriously injured after a train collided into a school bus at an unmanned railway crossing at Chegunta in Telangana’s Medak district.
