Bosses from Hell revealed

Dante's Inferno seems better and better as new videos are leaked to the net every week. In the newest clip developers Visceral reveal Dante acquiring his cross and seeing Hell open up for the first time.

But out favourite part of the clip was the end of the video when Dante is seen standing in a cold place, looking surprised. If you've read the Divine Comedy, you'd know that Dante was most probably seeing his beloved getting jiggy with the Devil.

The developers of the upcoming 'Dante's Inferno' have been regularly putting up clips of the game, showing us little titbits of what to expect when we get our hands on it.

In the below video, the developer diary reveals the 'Eighth Circle of Hell: Fraud'. Apparently this is the final level of the game and expectedly the most difficult. Like in most games, the final level will pit up up against all of the game's enemies in one go. According to one of the designers, the level is like 'a high school reunion...except you get to chop everybody's heads off. Beautiful'.

Dante's Inferno is published by Electronic Arts and is being developed by Visceral Games, the guys from 'Dead Space'. The game has been billed as a cross between God of War and Dead Space and is very loosely based on Inferno, the first book of Dante Alighieri's epic poem, The Divine Comedy. The story of the game is written by Will Rokos, who wrote the film Monster's Ball. You get to play as the game's primary protagonist, Dante, who is depicted as a knight of the Third Crusade who has a red tapestry detailing the events of his life sewn into his chest.
