Lenovo’s latest smartphone Lenovo P2 is all set for launch today in India at 12:30 PM IST. Lenovo has yet not announced the price for Lenovo P2, but what we know is the device will be exclusively sold via homegrown e-tailer Flipkart in the country. Lenovo has been teasing about the launch for a week now and the company also highlighted features of the device on social media. Among few of the features, Lenovo P2 flaunts a long-lasting ginormous 5100mAh battery with 3 day charge, as the company claims. Lenovo P2, apart from the long lasting battery also boasts of supporting dual app installs. The dual-app feature would help separate personal and profession usage, the company says. With dual-app feature on board one can easily handle two Whatsapp account, Facebook accounts and many other, on a single device. The feature will indeed be very helpful for those who sometimes need to carry two phones just for handling social media accounts. Also, Lenovo P2 4GB RAM variant with 64GB inbuilt storage has already been launched in China exclusively. Other regions across the globe are expected to get 3GB and 4GB variant with 32GB inbuilt storage only. The storage on the device can be expanded via micro SD card.

Lenovo P2  runs on Android Marshmallow 6.0 out-of-the box and it is powered by 2Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor. The 4G enabled device features a 5.5 inch FullHD Super AMOLED display. In terms of camera, Lenovo P2 offers 13 megapixel rear camera and a 5 megapixel front-facing camera. The device is expected to be available in Graphite Grey and Champagne Gold color variants. P2 also packs connectivity features such as Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v4.1.

The price of Lenovo P2 will be made official after the launch. The official launch event of Lenovo P2 will also feature Sahil Khattar and Shivani Dandekar, joining the Lenovo officals in the unveiling of device. Watch the live streaming here.
