Gadget fans and especially those who love iPhone will finally find out today what is special about the iPhone 7 when it is unveiled by Apple at a “special event” in san Fransico later today. There are rumours swirling about the new iPhone 7 for last few months, with numerous tip-offs and leaked photos adding more fuel to the frenzy.
In last few weeks the most persistent rumor is that Apple is going to get rid of the headphone socket meaning users will either have to use wireless Bluetooth headphones to listen to music, or buy a pair of wired headphones that plug into the Lightning port which is currently used for charging the handset. There are also lots of talks going around that iPhone 7 will have a new camera with dual 12-megapixel lenses, which would be able to click high-quality SLR photos and create special effects such as “bokeh”. However, this may only feature on the 5.5-inch iPhone 7 Plus, not the 4.7-inch iPhone 7.
The grand event will kick start at 10 am local time, (6 pm BST) at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in san Fransico, and you can follow all the announcements as they happen right here on India.com live blog.
