A painting exhibition that aims to take viewers into the world of Indian painting is presently underway in Quebec City’s Musée des Beaux-Arts.

The “Into India” exhibit, which began on Octover 9, shows seven hundred years of history and artistic creation, from the 12th to the 19th centuries, through a hundred works from the Edwin Binney Collection at the San Diego Museum of Art.

The art is inspired by Persian culture and its heroes and also features detailed illustrations of the native flora and fauna. The exhibition will run till January 18.
