Dulquer Salmaan or DQ has heart of Malayalees today. From his first role in Second Show as a gangster to his popular roles in Utsad Hotel or Bangalore Days, he has gained a place in the heart of Malayalees in a short span of time. So, on his birthday on July 28, we share with you five lesser knows facts about the heartthrob of the the Mollywood industry.

1. Before entering films, Dulquer ran a business which was a web portal for trading cars.

2. Currently, he also heads a dental business in Chennai

3. He is the director of Bangalore based Motherhood Hospital.

4. He is the only Malayalam actor to be listed down in most desired men of the country. He was the 7th in Chennai’s Most Desirable Men in 2014. He ranked 45th in Times Most Desirable Men 2014. In an online poll conducted by Indiatimes, he was voted as Kochi Times Most Desirable Men 2014.

5. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Purdue University in United States.
