Ravo is a sweet dish which is their utmost specialty. Ravo or semolina marks the start of the auspicious day which is prepared by lightly frying the semolina before dousing it with great amount of creamy milk. From generations Parsi people prepare this dish with the help of fried potato sticks or masaledar chicken gravy. Some put sugar, vinegar and spices to enhance its taste. One can have it with chapatti, bread or potato crisp.
This special sweet dish prepared by most of the Parsis, completes the list of delicious dishes on this day. Falooda is made of milk, it is then flavored with rose essence. Beside this other favorite sweet dishes prepared on this auspicious occasion are caramel custard and Lagan-nu-custard.
