IPL 2014, DD vs SRH: Top 5 players to watch out for in Match 32

JP-Duminy-Bhuvneshwar-Kumar-David-Warner-Kedar-Jadhav

Sunrisers Hyderabad’s morale boosting win against Rajasthan Royals helped them occupy number fifth spot on the points table with three wins out of seven games while Delhi Daredevils’ struggle at its own backyard continues now having lost three out three matches at home. As DD placed last on points table takes on SRH we bring to you five players who can turn the match number 32 head-on.

1. JP Duminy (Delhi Daredevils)

JP Duminy averages 93.33 with a strike rate of 137.25. In final five overs his strike rate hikes up to 225.33 and goes to show how brutal he becomes in death overs. Duminy has been so consistent that in his eight innings he has been dismissed only three times. He has thumped 17 4s and 12 6s so far.

2. Kedar Jadhav (Delhi Daredevils)

JP Duminy’s partner in crime Kedar Jadhav has belted opposition with a phenomenal strike rate of 170.17 and yes he is yet to be dismissed in his four outings. Jadhav’s late onslaught has helped Delhi Daredevils to post competitive totals. He has cemented his place in the side with his cameos after being overlooked for first few matches.

3. Bhuvneshwar Kumar (Sunrisers Hyderabad)

Bhuvi with 14 wickets holds the purple cap and has been economical as well giving 5.45 runs per over. Bhuvneshwar Kumar has been blowing alongside world’s fastest bowler Dale Steyn and he has not let the South African speedster overshadow him. Bhuvi will look to add some more scalps to his list as Mohit Sharma (CSK) who will be in action later is tied with him on equal number of wickets.

4. David Warner (Sunrisers Hyderabad)

David Warner is part of the very strong top order SRH possess and is team’s highest run getter so far. The left hander is an absolute threat when he gets going. Warner who plays for Australia in capacity of an opener has been holding the fort for SRH at number three and has done relatively well.

5. Dark Horse: Dinesh Karthik (Delhi Daredevils)

Dinesh Karthik has certainly failed to live up to the expectations of his owners who bought him for the hefty amount. The onus is on him to perform and justify his price tag.  In his eight innings he has just managed to score 193 runs with just two half centuries. He needs to step up his game and come up as a match winner.
