The Decision Review System (DRS) is one of the most talked about topics in cricket. This technology is used to review on-field umpiring decisions which can help protect cricketers from potential human errors. Each team is permitted to make two unsuccessful review requests per innings in a match to dispute either a ‘not-out’ or an ‘out’ call. If the umpire’s decision is reversed, the appealing team retains its review, if not, they lose it for the entire innings.
