Shahid Kapur, born on February 25, 1981 in Delhi, is the son of Pankaj Kapur and Neelima Azeem and step-son of Supriya Pathak. He attended Gyan Bharati School in Delhi and Rajhans Vidyalaya in Mumbai. He was one of the lead dancers in Shiamak Davar_s troup and was seen dancing in Kahin Aag Lage Lag Jawe from the film Taal.
