Vidya Balan, born on January 1, 1978 in Ottapalam, is an Indian film actress and has acted in Hindi, Bengali and Malayalam films. She is married to Siddharth Roy Kapur and is the sister in law of Aditya Roy Kapur and Kunaal Roy Kapur. She started her career by acting in television serial, Hum Paanch in 1995 and started her film career with Bengali film Bhalo Theko.
