Vir Das, born on May 31, 1979, in Dehradun is an actor and stand-up comedian. He grew up in Africa, Lagos, Nigeria, Shimla and Delhi and got his degree from Knox College. He was presented with the Richter Scholarship for Theatre followed by the Colton Performance Award for Outstanding Achievement in Acting from his college.
