Born on June 26, 1985 in Mumbai, Bollywood actor Arjun Kapoor is the son of producer Boney Kapoor and Mona Kapoor nee Shourie. He is the brother of Anshula Kapoor and the half-brother of Jhanvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor, the daughters of actress Sridevi and Boney Kapoor. He has worked as an assistant producer on his father's productions like Wanted and No Entry that starred Bollywood superstar Salman Khan. Arjun Kapoor made his acting debut in 2012, with Habib Faizal's film Ishaqzaade for Yash Raj Films (YRF), for which he got the Filmfare Best Debut Male nomination. His first film was supposed to be YRF's Virus Diwan but it was shelved. With films like YRF's Gunday and Karan Johar and Sajid Nadiadwala's production 2 States, Arjun Kapoor established himself as a commercially successful actor. Earlier, he was also appreciated in YRF film Aurangzeb in a double role, and then in Homi Adajania's Finding Fanny opposite Deepika Padukone and in Ki & Ka opposite Kareena Kapoor Khan as the house husband. Arjun Kapoor was not liked much in films like Tevar, his father's production.
