Divyanka Tripathi is an Indian actress and one of the most popular television actresses in the Hindi Television Industry. Divyanka came into limelight after her role in the soap opera Banoo Main Teri Dulhan on Zee TV and she won many awards and nomination for her role. One of the most popular roes of Divyanka Tripathi is the character of Dr. Ishita Raman Bhalla in the soap opera Ye Hai Mohabbatein broadcasted on Star Plus. she won the Indian Telly Award for Best Actress in a Lead Role for her role. Born on 14th December 1984 in Bhopal to Narendra Tripathi and Neelam Tripathi, Divyanka has an elder sister Priyanka Tripathi and a younger brother named Aishwarya Tripathi. She completed her schooling from Carmel Convent High School in Bhopal and later graduated from Sarojini Naidu Government Girls College in Bhopal. She had completed a mountaining course from the Nehru Institute of Mountaineering in Uttarkashi and also has completed the rifle shooting course from Bhopal Rifle Academy and she holds gold medals in riflery. Divyanka stepped into the entertainment industry as an anchor in the Bhopal Akash Vani. In 2003, she became a contestant in Pantene Zee Teen Queen and won the Miss Beautiful Skin title. The next year she participated in another reality show Indias Best Cinestars Ki Khoj and was declared the winner of Bhopal Zone. In 2005, she was also crowned as Miss Bhopal. Her first step in acting career was in Doordarshan where she appeared in telefilms. However, she received popularity and recognition for her dual roles in Zee TVs drama fiction, Banoo Main Teri Dulhann. She played the dual role of Vidya and Divya. Vidya was an orphan and illiterate girl whereas Divya was a modern and literate girl. Her character in the opera was critically acclaimed and she won the Indian Television Academy Award for Best Actress in Drama Category as well as the Indian Telly Award for Fresh New Face. After gaining popularity, Divyanka then got featured in different shows. She appeared in Star Pluss Ye Hai Mohabbatein portraying the character of Dr. Ishita Bhaila who is an infertile dentist and marries a CEO in order to provide maternal affection to his daughter. Divyanka also has been a part of movies and played the female lead as Rani Padmavathi in the movie Lala Hardaul which was based on a folk tale of Bundelkhand. Divyanka got married to Vivek Dahiya, his co-actor in Ye Hai Mohabbatein on 8th July 2016 in Bhopal. Divyanka was in controversies when an unknown person came in the sets of Ye Hai Mohabbatein and started misbehaving with her by passing derogatory remarks, after which Divyankas co-actors Karan and Ali beat him for misbehaving.
