Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a two day trip to the North-Eastern state of Sikkim for the Sikkim Organic Festival. Over 55 farmers from across Sikkim have displayed their produce and the Prime Minister has been impressed by the various innovations by the locals. Today, he visited the organic horticulture at Ridge Park in Gangtok and tomorrow, he will be at the Organic Agri Produce at Saramsa. However, we think there are quite a lot of places he could visit in Sikkim and that he should most definitely extend his stay for a quick trip around the beautiful Sikkim.
Here are six pictures of places that we hope inspire PM Modi to stay back in Sikkim for just a bit longer.
Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim is the biggest city in this state. It is the first place the PM visited on this trip. Seen above is a panoramic view of the city.
