Ajmer is very famous for the Ajmer Sharif Dargah of the Sufi saint, Khwaja Moin-Ud-Din Chisti. It is a city located in the state of Rajasthan. Located at the foot of the Aravali Mountain range, it is one of the holiest cities of India and attracts tourists of all spiritual and religious beliefs from all around the world.
How to reach by road:
Ajmer is somewhere around 6-9 hours away from Delhi, considering the route you take and the mode of transport. A bus will be available with good frequency from Delhi and back. However, you can also opt for the route that goes from Delhi> Jaipur> Ajmer, which will enable you to visit yet another city in the royal state of Rajasthan.
