Samsung launches ’unimpressive’ Galaxy Ace NXT-G313H at Rs 7,499

Amidst high competition from Micromax, Motorola, and Xolo, Samsung has launched its new mid-price smartphone. Advancing the Ace series, Samsung has launched the next device in the series, the Samsung Galaxy NXT G313H. It would be hard for the tech-giant to sustain itself in mid-priced bracket of the smart-phones.

Motorola with the Moto E and Micromax with its upcoming Canvas Fire are the hot favourites among the tech savvy folks. Let’s have a comprehensive look of the specifications of Ace NXT-

Samsung Galaxy Ace NXT sports a medium sized display of 4 inches, which is pint-sized compared to Moto E (4.3 inches) and Micromax Unite 2 (4.7 inches). When it comes to the display, it again fails to produce a clear picture because of its low dimensions of 480×320. In the age of dual, quad, and octa core, Samsung’s NXT is sticking to a mere 1.2GHz single core processor which will be a big let-down for gaming enthusiasts. Games with decent graphics will heat up and slow the device down.

This will not only restrict the usage but also ‘selling’ speed of the handset. Again to face a blow in the camera section, the device dons a meagre 3 megapixel rear camera with LED flash. Selfie-lovers will not enjoy the front camera. Galaxy NXT is backed with a battery backup of 1500mAh which is enough to perform the fair-ish features of the phone. The internal storage of the device is limited to 4 GB that can be expanded till 32 GB via microSD card. The phone will run on Android Kitkat 4.4.2 but with the given specs, operations probably won’t be the smoothest.

With such unimpressive features, Samsung is only depreciating its goodwill. The phone is definitely not worth the price, with several alternative options available in the market.
