New Delhi: Asian Games 2018: Gold medallist Vinesh Phogat quashes rumours of her alleged affair with star javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra. Phogat recently won gold in 50 kg freestyle wrestling becoming the only Indian women to do so. Phogat took to Twitter and the post read, “Really sad to see that a simple gesture of being present when one athlete is chasing glory for #India is painted in the wrong light Myself and @Neeraj_chopra1 and every other Indian athlete will support each other to ALWAYS make  proud, nothing more! Thank you.”

Her boyfriend took to Instagram and shared a picture with her.

#mychampionalwaysbethechampion ❤️

Phogat returned the favour by doing something similar. She took to her Instagram and shared a picture featuring the two.

The post was also retweeted by Neeraj Chopra.

The best decision I ever made! Glad you pinned me for life ❤️A post shared by Vinesh Phogat (@vineshphogat) on

India now has four gold medals after Rahee Sarnobat in the shooting event.

With all these social media posts, the rumours are bound to end.
