Earlier, in her 100 m race she came second in yet another photo-finish. It seems like she is making it a habit of acing these photo finishes. She would be vying for gold come tomorrow.
Meanwhile, Saina Nehwal, PV Sindhu created history by winning medals in the ongoing 18th Asian Games 2018. Saina won bronze, whereas Sindhu bagged silver. The sport of badminton was introduced in the Asian Games in 1962 and this is the first time India has won a medal at the event. Saina lost to World No 1 Tai Tzu Ying in her semifinal match, whereas Sindhu lost to Tai in the finals in straight games.
Meanwhile, India’s medal tally swelled to 49.
