Asian Games 2018 Jakarta And Palembang, Day 4 Highlights: Rahi Sarnobat scripted history on the day four of the ongoing Asian games 2018 as she became the first Indian female shooter to win a gold at the Asian Games, achieving the rare feat after a nerve-wracking 25m air pistol finals.
It was wushu from where India clinched four bronze medal to see the medal tally swell to 15 on Day 4 from 10 after day 3. This has been by far India’s best day at the games thus far.

Her medal added the fourth gold to India’s medal tally. 16-year-old Manu Bhaker also participated in the 25m pistol shooting but the Commonwealth Games 2018 gold medallist finished sixth in the event.
Meanwhile, India’s number one women’s tennis player Ankita Raina also assured a medal after progressing to the semi-finals in the singles event.
In other news, the Indian men’s hockey team also hammered Hong Kong 26-0 in their second Pool A match.
On Day 3, it was Saurabh Chaudhary who brought India’s third Gold medal of the ongoing Asian Games. Saurabh shot a Games Record of 240.7 in the finals of Men’s 10m Air Pistol event where Abhishek Verma added a bronze for the country. Wrestler Divya Kakran also added the first bronze to India’s wrestling tally at the 18th Asian Games, beating Taipei’s Chen Wenling in the third-place play-off bout for the 68kg category.
