Laharighat Election Result 2021 Live Updates

Assam Assembly Election 2021: Counting of votes for Laharighat Vidhan Sabha seat in Assam began at 8 am today. Final results for Laharighat elections have been declared. Laharighat went to polls on April 1. In 2016, Dr Nazrul Islam of Congress won the Laharighat seat by defeating Siddique Ahmed of AIUDF.

In 2021 Laharighat elections, Kadiru Jjaman Zinnah of BJP contested against Asif Mohd Nazar of Congress.

10.30 pm: Dr. Asif Mohammad Nazar of Congress defeats Independent candidate Siddique Ahmed  by 2028 votes

2.30 pm: Kadiruzzaman Zinnah of BJP leading by 886 votes

10.40 am: Kadiruzzaman Zinnah of BJP leading, Dr. Asif Mohammad Nazar of Congress trails

9.30 am: Counting underway.

8.05 am: Counting of votes begins

7.00 am: Counting of votes to begin shortly
