Mercedes Benz India has finally introduced the Mercedes AMG SLC 43 as a replacement for the Mercedes SLK 55 in the domestic market. Launched with a price tag of INR 77.5 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi), the new SLC 43 roadster is company’s flagship product in the SLK lineup. Moreover, the arrival of SLC 43 marks company’s plan to introduce 12 new products in the market for the year 2016.

In terms of appearance, the front end of the upcoming Mercedes gets A-Class inspired diamond grille as well as a redesigned bumper that is further accentuated by the sweptback headlamps which comes with integrated LED DRLs. The sporty character of the roadster is further enhanced by the front bumper that houses a large air vent whereas the rear end of the SLC 43 comes with a new exhaust system, revamped bumper and LED taillights. The side profile majorly resembles with the outgoing Mercedes SLK 55 and bags 10-spoke 18-inch AMG alloy wheels. The transmission duties are carried out by a 9-speed 9G-Tronic automatic unit. This roadster can easily sprint to 100kmph in just 4.7 seconds in order to attain an electronically limited top speed of 250 kmph.
