Bengaluru: 19-Tear-Old Dies After Jumping In Front Of Namma Metro Train

Bengaluru namma Metro services have been disrupted for hours after a 19-year-old boy killed himself after jumping in front if a train. The incident took place at Attiguppe station on the Purple Line on March 21.

Bengaluru: In a shocking incident, a 19-year-old boy died after jumping in front of Bengaluru’s Namma metro train on March 21. The incident took place at Attiguppe station on the purple line and the operation was halted for hours.


The services between the Magadi route to Challaghatta stations were halted for hours after the incident. Later, the Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) informed in a tweet that services on the affected routes had been resumed.

The body of the boy was sent to a government hospital for an autopsy. Further, police are investigating the matter.
