Bengaluru techie couple kills 15-yr-old nanny for eating child’s…; body found in suitcase

The police said 37-yr-old Ashwini Patil allegedly struck multiple times on the girl's head after she ate from her kid’s food. The woman’s husband Abinesh Sahu is also implicated in the offence.

In a shocking incident, a techie couple killed a 15-yr-old girl who was working at their residence as Nanny for their 5-yr-old son. The couple killed the girl after she allegedly ate their kid’s food, according to a report published in TOI.

The police said 37-yr-old Ashwini Patil allegedly struck multiple times on the girl’s head after she ate from her kid’s food. The woman’s husband Abinesh Sahu is also implicated in the offence. The incident took place on September 27 at their residence in Bengaluru’s Banganapalli. The couple is employed with IT companies. The deceased has been identified as Sumaina, a native of Rajasthan. 

Another media report said that the couple had chosen the girl from an orphanage in Odisha.

S Raja, DSP of Sankari sub division, said the couple did not take medical help after assaulting the girl. The panic-stricken couple stashed her in a suitcase and left it under a bridge in Vaikuntam area of Salem district of Tamil Nadu. They drove from Bengaluru to Salem with her body. 

After discovering the suitcase, the locals alerted police on September 29. Later, the police analysed the CCTV where they found that a car was seen travelling towards Sankari but not returning.
