Madhepura Constituency, Bihar Lok Sabha Election 2024: Madhepura is one of the 40 Lok Sabha Constituency in Bihar and enjoys a strategic location that influences its socio-political dynamics. In the previous general elections a close fight was seen between Jan Adhikar Partys Pappu Yadav, JD(U)s Dinesh Chandra Yadav, and RJDs Sharad Yadav. Dinesh Chandra Yadav won the seat with considerable margin.
Madhepura will go on polls in the 3rd phase on May 7.
As per the election commission, the results for the Madhepura Lok Sabha Constituency Election 2024 will be declared 4th June.
JDU has fielded Dinesh Chandra Yadav to contest from Madhepura Lok Sabha Constituency.
In Madhepura’s current political scene, Dinesh Chandra Yadav, a JD(U) affiliate, proudly holds the title of Member of Parliament. The 2019 Lok Sabha elections were a defining moment when he triumphed over his competition in the Madhepura constituency with a staggering 624334 votes. His contender, Sharad Yadav of RJD, trailed significantly, securing only 322807 votes. The vote count clearly demonstrated Dinesh Chandra Yadav’s grand lead of 301527 votes, marking his powerful victory.
