Vaishali Constituency, Bihar Lok Sabha Election 2024: Vaishali is one of the 40 Lok Sabha Constituencies in Bihar and it has witnessed diverse political representations over the years. it was established as a separate district from Muzaffarpur in 1972. The constituency is represented by six assembly seats – Paru, Sahebganj, Minapur, Kanti, Baruraj, and Vaishali. In the previous elections, LJP’s Veena Devi won the seat with 5,68,215 votes. Raghuvansh Prasad Singh of the RJD secured the second position.

In the 2019 parliamentary elections, Dinesh Prasad Singh’s wife, Veena Devi, proved to be a powerhouse political figure, clinching a victory for the LJP party within the Vaishali constituency. She secured a whopping 568,215 votes, significantly outpacing her rival, Raghuvansh Prasad Singh of the RJD party, who managed only 333,631 votes. The gap between these contenders was substantial, with Veena leading by a staggering margin of 234,584 votes.
