A day after the Lok Sabha Elections 2024 Phase 5, a clash broke out in Bihar’s Chapra on Tuesday between the workers of Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD). The BJP vs RJD Clash happened after a candidate came near a polling booth; two people have been arrested. A worker also lost his life in the clash and two others were injured; to maintain peace in the area, an internet shutdown has been imposed for two days and Rohini Acharya has also filed an FIR at the Chapra Town Police Station. Rohini Acharya Files FIR In BJP vs RJD Clash
As mentioned earlier, a clash broke out between RJD and BJP workers in Chapra, Bihar after a candidate came near a polling booth. In a latest update, politician and daughter of Lalu Prasad Yadav, Rohini Acharya has filed an FIR at the Chapra Town Police Station against 62 people, following the attack between the party workers in Chapra.

In the ongoing clash between BJP and RJD, one person was killed and two others were injured on May 21. Saran District Magistrate Aman Samir told ANI, “Some tensions erupted yesterday between two parties after a candidate came near polling station 318-319. After the tension, our patrolling team was deputed. This morning a scuffle broke out between the supporters of both groups (BJP and RJD) and one of them opened fire. One person died and the two were injured.”
Internet Shutdown Ordered For 2 Days, Flag March Conducted
The district administration has also ordered internet shutdown for two days as a precautionary measure. “For precaution, we sought permission for a two-day internet shutdown. We have received the permission from the headquarters,” Aman Samir added. Additionally, the police also carried out a flag march appealing to people to maintain their calm. Aman Samir said sufficient police deployment has been made and officers are also patrolling, adding that the situation is currently “under control.” “The accused are being identified and action will be taken against them. We appeal to everyone to maintain peace. Two people have been arrested…We are patrolling continuously and sufficient deployment has been made. The situation is under control,” DM Aman Samir said.
