Youth Leader From Nitish Kumar’s JD(U) Shot Dead By Bike-Borne Assailants In Patna

Patna: A youth leader from Nitish Kumar’s Janata Dal United was shot dead late last night. Saurabh Kumar, the victim, was returning from a function when he was ambushed by four men on bikes, who fired at him, according to NDTV. His companion, Munmun, was also injured in the attack. Saurabh succumbed to his injuries upon arrival at the hospital, while Munmun is currently in critical condition.

According to reports, the incident occurred as Kumar was coming back from a wedding celebration, accompanied by his friends and family.

Following the crime, a special team from the Patna Police initiated an investigation into the matter. The incident sparked outrage among locals, leading to protests and road blockades in the area.
