Reliance AGM 2025: Reliance Retail, India’s largest retailer headed by Isha Ambani, has witnessed remarkable growth since the very first year of its operation, and has become one of world’s fastest growing retailers, Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani said Friday.

Addressing the company’s 48th Annual General Meeting (AGM), Mukesh Ambani hailed the tremendous success of Reliance Retail, stating that it has become one of the world’s fastest FMCG firms with an annual turnover of Rs 11,500 crore in the FY-2025.

What did Isha Ambani says at Reliance AGM?

Speaking at the Reliance AGM 2025, Isha Ambani, who serves as the Director of Reliance Retail Ventures Limited, said the company’s gross revenue grew by 8 percent to Rs 3,30,943 crore in FY25.

Reliance Retail witnessed about 1.4 billion transactions in the last fiscal, nearly matching the country’s population, Isha Ambani said, adding that the company is “not just participating in India’s consumption boom but propelling it, with the structural growth tailwinds” across its business verticals.”

The company’s EBITDA increased by 8.6 percent on an annual basis to Rs 25,904 crore, while its online channels are poised to achieve 20 percent growth over the next three years, she said. “Our online channels contribute a high single-digit share of retail revenues but will grow to over 20 percent within three years.”

Why Reliance Retail dominates India’s retail sector?

Isha Ambani further said that Reliance Retail, which operates a whopping 19,340 offline stores, and has a customer base of 349 million across India, has also amplified its digital reach with e-commerce platforms such as JioMart and AJIO and expanding coverage of hyperlocal delivery services.

In the quick-commerce sector, Reliance Retail is offering faster, reliable deliveries than other competitors, owing to the company’s vast store network and strategically located dark stores, she added.

“Looking ahead, we are confident of delivering 20%+ CAGR in retail revenues over the next three years,” Isha said.

Meanwhile, Isha Ambani revealed that Reliance Retail is looking to scale its FMCG business by over eightfold in the next five years to Rs 1 lakh crore, besides investing invest Rs 40,000 crore to create Asia’s largest food parks.

According to Isha, Reliance, which now eyes global expansion of FMCG business “will invest Rs 40,000 crore (USD 4.7 billion) to create Asia’s largest integrated food parks with AI-driven automation, robotics, and sustainable technologies, securing lasting cost leadership”
