As per a report by Aajtak, Pakistan tried to land its commandos on this airbase but due to the bravery of the locals, they were forced to retreat. As a part of the historic failure of Pakistan, the 42 commandos were caught and 12 were shot dead while one commando escaped.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi reaches Adampur air base
In a significant development after the India-Pakistan tensions, Prime Minister Narendra Modi travelled to the Adampur air base on Tuesday morning and interacted with air force personnel, who have been in the thick of action during the recent conflict with Pakistan, as per a report covered by news agency PTI.
