Amazon five-day Sale: Get up to 30% off on household products and more

New Delhi, June 10: E-commerce major Amazon today announced a five-day sale on everyday household products. The products cover a variety of products under various categories like detergents and dishwashing, Family Nutrition, Oral Care, Feminine Hygiene, Air Fresheners, items of household cleaning, hand care, shaving and grooming and much more. The five-day extravaganza started on June 10 and will last until June 14. The new Amazon sale includes compelling deals on top household brands and brings in a chance to save money like never before. The sale will allow customers, especially housewives to leverage exclusive deals on household products on Amazon website and its app.

The US-based e-commerce giant is offering up to 20% off on Detergents & Dishwashing, up to 15% off on Family Nutrition, up to 30% off on Feminine Hygiene, up to 25% Off on oral care, up to 15% off on household cleaning, up to 30% off on air fresheners, up to 20% off on Hand Care. The GST Council in May increased the limit on input tax credit from 40% to 60%. This tax credit is for inventory which produces a GST of 18% or 28% without considering excise payment receipts and which are below 18% may remain at 40%.

Huge discounts are believed to drizzle as GST would be rolled out on July 1. Another Amazon sale named ‘Back to Class’ Sale is underway which offers discounts on products of daily needs for school and college kids. The ‘Back to Class’ Sale began on June 8 and will end on June 11 and has great offers on Windows laptops, sunglasses, backpacks, school books, textbooks, footwear, women and men’s clothing, fashion accessories and many more blockbuster deals.

Amazon earlier claimed that the company had acquired more new customers from tier-2 and tier-3 cities across the country during its four-day ‘Great Indian Sale’ last month. “Our customers’ acquisition drive in 2017 saw 235 per cent annual growth in tier-2 and tier-3 cities during the four-day sale since May 11,” the Indian subsidiary of Amazon said.
