Wipro, India’s fourth-largest IT services company, has announced a restructuring of its global business lines to better meet evolving customer needs. The company aims to focus more on emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), cloud computing, and digital transformation. These changes will take effect from April 1. Under the new structure, Wipro will operate through four key business divisions: Technology Services, Business Process Services, Consulting, and Engineering.

CEO and Managing Director Srini Pallia stated, “This transformation will allow us to focus more effectively on customer requirements, especially by offering AI-driven and consulting-led solutions. The restructuring will help us serve our clients better and deliver impactful digital transformations.”

Wipro’s new structure

Wipro has restructured its business lines to enhance efficiency and focus on emerging technologies.

• Technology Services Line: This division merges Wipro FullStride Cloud with data, application platforms, digital operations, and cybersecurity (previously Wipro Enterprise Futuring). It will be led by Nagendra Bandaru, who was previously heading Enterprise Futuring.

• Leadership Changes: Wipro’s Cloud Head, Jo Debecker, has resigned. He had joined the company during former CEO Thierry Delaporte’s tenure. Wipro stated that he has chosen to explore external opportunities.

• Business Process Services: Led by Jasjit Singh Kang, this division will focus on digital operations and business process transformation. Kang is currently the Senior Vice President and Business Head of Digital Operations & Platforms.

• Consulting Business: Amit Kumar will lead this segment, which will focus on strategic advisory and transformation services.

• Capco Leadership: One of Wipro’s major acquisitions, Capco, will continue to be led by Ann-Marie Rowland.

• Engineering Business: Srikumar Rao will lead this division, which will maintain its focus on engineering and R&D services.

“This evolution of our business lines will enable us to further sharpen our focus towards client needs with consulting-led and AI-powered solutions. This realignment will allow us to serve our clients better, enabling us to deliver tailored, high-impact transformation,” said Srini Pallia, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, Wipro.
