Bad news for Blinkit, Zepto, and Swiggy Instamart: In a move that could impact the quick commerce delivery market, Topmate, a new Indian startup, has claimed of “delivering” humans in 10 minutes. Yes! you heard it right. After the huge success of 10-minutes online delivery apps like Blinkit, Zepto, and Swiggy Instamart, this new Indian startup is planning to deliver humans. Launching the startup, Nimisha Chanda made the announcement on X writing, “It’s OVER for Blinkit, Zepto, and Instamart. Because we’re not just delivering groceries in 10 minutes—we’re delivering humans.”

Zomato to trade as ‘Eternal’ on stock exchanges
Food-tech giant Zomato on Thursday officially changed the company’s name to Eternal, following an approval from its board. In a stock exchange filing, the online food aggregator said that when we acquired Blinkit, we started using “Eternal” (instead of Zomato) internally to distinguish between the company and the brand/app.
“We also thought that we would publicly rename the company to Eternal, the day something beyond Zomato became a significant driver of our future. Today, with Blinkit, I feel we are there,” said Deependra Goyal, Co-founder of Zomato.
Swiggy’s loss widens 39 pc to Rs 799 crore in Q3
Zomato’s rival Swiggy on Wednesday reported a Rs 799.08 crore net loss in the October-December period (Q3 FY25), as compared to a loss of Rs 625.53 crore in the previous quarter. On an annual basis, Swiggy’s net loss widened 39 per cent, from a net loss of Rs 574 crore in the year-ago period.
The operating loss, or the losses before interest tax depreciation and amortisation, stood at Rs 725.66 crore, which increased from Rs 554.17 crore clocked in the September quarter (Q2). However, the online food delivery company’s revenue went up 10.9 per cent from the preceding quarter to Rs 3,993.07 crore, according to its stock exchange filing. The top line was primarily aided by Rs 1,636.88-crore revenue clocked in the food delivery segment.
