Bank Holidays | New Delhi: Banks will remain closed for 8 days in June 2022. These include weekends as well. As a norm, banks in India continue to work on the first and fourth Saturdays of the month, while the second and third Saturdays are considered holidays. All Sundays are considered a holiday.
In June 2022, banks will be closed on account of weekends as well as festivals. According to RBI, the bank holidays in India are categorised into three categories.
In the upcoming month, apart from weekends, there are just two holidays that will fall under the Negotiable Instruments Act.
