1. December 1 (Monday): Banks will be closed in Arunachal Pradesh and Nagaland for State Inauguration Day and Indigenous Faith Day.
2. December 3 (Wednesday): Banks will be closed in Goa for the feast of St. Francis Xavier.
3. December 7 (Sunday): Banks will be closed across the country on this day due to the Sunday holiday.
4. December 12 (Friday): The death anniversary of freedom fighter Pa Togan Nenminja Sangma of the Garo tribe will be observed in Meghalaya.
5. December 13 (Saturday): Banks across the country will be closed due to it being a second Saturday.
6. December 14 (Sunday): Banks across the country will remain closed due to the Sunday holiday.
7. December 18 (Thursday): Banks will be closed in Meghalaya on the occasion of the death anniversary of Khasi poet U Soso Tham.

12. December 24 (Wednesday): Banks will be closed in Mizoram, Nagaland, and Meghalaya on Christmas Eve.
13. December 25 (Thursday): Banks will be closed across the country on Christmas Day.
14. December 26 (Friday): Banks will be closed in Mizoram, Nagaland, and Meghalaya due to Christmas celebrations.
15. December 27 (Saturday): Banks will be closed across the country as it is the fourth Saturday.
16. December 28 (Sunday): Banks will remain closed across the country due to the Sunday holiday.
17. December 30 (Tuesday): Banks will be closed in Meghalaya on the death anniversary of freedom fighter U Kiang Nangbah.
18. December 31 (Wednesday): Banks will be closed in Mizoram and Manipur on account of New Year’s Eve and Imoinu Iratpa festival.

Weekend Bank Holidays List

Banks will be closed on the second Saturday across India on December 13.

Banks will be closed on the fourth Saturday across India on December 27.

Bank holidays on Sundays across India on these dates: December 7, 14, 21, and 28.

You can transact money or do other work through online banking and ATMs on bank holidays.
