Reliance Market Cap: In a major boost for billionaire Mukesh Ambani– Asia’s richest man– the market cap of Reliance Industries surged by a whopping Rs 36,673 crore as the combined market valuation of seven of India’s top-10 most valued firms jumped by Rs 1,28,281.52 crore last week, with Reliance and Sunil Mittal-led Bharti Airtel emerging as the biggest gainers.
How much did Reliance market cap surge?
As per market data, Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance Industries added Rs 36,673 crore to its market valuation, which now stands at Rs 20,92,052.61 crore, while the market capitalisation of Sunil Mittal’s Bharti Airtel increased by Rs 36,579.01 crore to reach 12,33,279.85 crore.
The mcap of Narayana Murthy’s Infosys rallied by 17,490.03 crore to Rs 6,41,688.83 crore, while Tata Group’s Tata Consultancy Services (TCS)– India’s largest software services exporters– reached a valuation of Rs 11,39,715.66 crore, adding Rs 16,299.49 crore to its tally.
The market cap of HDFC Bank grew by Rs 14,608.22 crore to Rs 15,35,132.56 crore, State Bank of India rose by Rs 4,846.08 crore to Rs 8,97,769.87 crore, and Hindustan Unilever’s mcap advanced by Rs 1,785.69 crore to Rs 5,71,972.75 crore, as seven of India’s top-10 most valued companies added a combined Rs 1,28,281.52 crore to their market cap last week, the data showed.

Who were the laggards?
Meanwhile, Bajaj Finance, Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) and ICICI Bank emerged as the laggards among the top-10 group, with Bajaj Finance losing Rs 8,244.79 crore to end up at Rs 6,25,328.59 crore.
The valuation of LIC eroded by Rs 4,522.38 crore to Rs 5,70,578.04 crore, and that of ICICI Bank declined by Rs 1,248.08 crore to Rs 9,79,126.35 crore, as per market data.
Mukesh Ambani’s Reliance remains most-valued firm
Owing to its stellar showing at the market, Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance Industries retained its coveted title of India’s most valued firm, followed by HDFC Bank, Bharti Airtel, TCS, ICICI Bank, State Bank of India, Infosys, Bajaj Finance, Hindustan Unilever and LIC.
Meanwhile, Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani remains the richest individual in India and all of Asia, boasting a net worth of $112 billion, as of November 23, 2025, according to Forbes Real-Time Billionaires List.
