Indian telecom providers, including Mukesh Ambani’s Jio, Sunil Mittal’s Bharti Airtel, and Vodafone Idea (Vi), are introducing new mobile recharge plans to attract customers. While Jio leads the telecom market, competitors like Airtel, Vi, and BSNL continue to challenge its dominance. Vi, a private telecom company struggling with losses, has unveiled annual recharge plans featuring unlimited data usage from midnight to noon to stay competitive.
The company announced three prepaid plans priced at Rs. 3,599, Rs. 3,699, and Rs. 3,799. These plans offer unlimited data usage from 12 AM to 12 PM daily for a year, in addition to the standard daily high-speed data limit.
According to Vi, the new annual plans include a “SuperHero” pack, which not only provides half-day unlimited data but also offers a 2GB daily data quota for the other 12 hours. Additionally, users can benefit from a weekend data rollover feature, allowing them to carry forward unused weekday data for weekend use.
Exclusive features of Vi SuperHero Prepaid Packs:
Unlimited Data: Half-day unlimited data (12 AM to 12 PM) every day.
Daily Data Quota: 2 GB of high-speed data for the remaining hours (12 PM to 12 AM).
Weekend Data Rollover: Users can carry forward unused weekday data and utilise it during the weekend.
OTT Benefits: The Rs. 3,699 plan comes with a 1-year Disney+ Hotstar Mobile subscription, while the Rs. 3,799 plan includes a 1-year Amazon Prime Lite subscription.
The Vi SuperHero plans are currently available in Maharashtra, Delhi, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, West Bengal, Punjab, and Haryana. Notably, the Rs. 3,699 plan includes a 1-year Disney+ Hotstar mobile subscription, while the Rs. 3,799 plan bundles a premium annual subscription.
