The Noida Authority has unveiled its mega expansion plan that could make thousands of farmers wealthy overnight. Following the Uttar Pradesh government’s approval of the new Noida Plan 2041, the authority will soon begin acquiring land. It has already proposed establishing the Dadri-Noida-Ghaziabad Investment Region (DNGIR) on the land of 84 villages.
The Noida Authority has unveiled its mega expansion plan that could make thousands of farmers wealthy overnight. Following the Uttar Pradesh government’s approval of the new Noida Plan 2041, the authority will soon begin acquiring land. It has already proposed establishing the Dadri-Noida-Ghaziabad Investment Region (DNGIR) on the land of 84 villages.
The Noida authority has sent a final draft to the District Magistrates of Ghaziabad, Hapur and Bulandshahr for the consent of connectivity from Noida to these three cities. Over 20 thousands farmers of these 84 villages will get compensation that would make them millionaires.
Earlier, the DNGIR had listed only 80 villages, but later the authority added four more villages. The authority has sent a letter to the state government for approval over the addition of these villages and once the authority gets it, the process of acquisition will be started.
The authority has proposed to inhabit New Noida in 209.11 square kilometeres in its master plan. As per master plan, the New Noida will be inhabited in four phases. In the first phase of 2023-2027, the authority will develop 3165 hectares of land. In 2027-2032, 3798 hectares of land will be developed while 5908 hectares of land will be developed in 2032-2037. In the last phase, 8230 hectares of land will be developed in 2037-2041.
The authority has planned to incorporate 60 villages of Bulandshahr and 20 villages of Gautam Budh Nagar. It is expected that around six lakh people will be inhabited in the proposed project. The authority has proposed 2810.54 hectares of land for residential use while 1792.26 hectares of land has been proposed for parks and greenery.
