Chhattisgarh Govt Hikes Salary of Skilled, Unskilled Workers: Here’s How Much They Will Receive Per Month

As per the revised wages, the unskilled workers will now get Rs 10,900, semi-skilled workers will get Rs. 11,500, skilled workers will get Rs 12,330 and highly skilled workers will get Rs 13,110 per month.

Raipur: In a piece of good news for lakhs of workers, the Chhattisgarh government on Wednesday increased minimum wages of the workers of the state. The Labour Department of the Chhattisgarh Government has issued an order in this regard and said the revised wage of the workers will be applicable from April 1, 2024.

Check Revised Wages Of Workers

As per the revised wages, the unskilled workers will now get Rs 10,900, semi-skilled workers will get Rs. 11,500, skilled workers will get Rs 12,330 and highly skilled workers will get Rs 13,110 per month.

Revised Minimum Wage As Per Category

Unskilled category

• Minimum wage for unskilled category ‘A’ workers is Rs. 10,900 per month
• Minimum wage for category ‘B’ is Rs. 10,640 per month
• Minimum wage for category ‘C’ is Rs. 10,380 per month

Semi-skilled category

• Minimum salary for semi-skilled category ‘A’ workers is Rs. 11,550 per month
• Minimum salary for category ‘B’ is Rs. 11,290 per month
• Minimum salary for category ‘C’ is Rs. 11,030 per month

Skilled class

• Minimum wage for skilled class ‘A’ workers is Rs. 12,330 per month
• Minimum wage for class ‘B’ workers is Rs. 12,070 per month
• Minimum wage for class ‘C’ workers is Rs. 11,810 per month

Highly skilled category

• Minimum wage for highly skilled category ‘A’ workers is Rs. 13,110 per month
• Minimum wage for category ‘B’ workers is Rs. 12,850 per month
• Minimum wage for category ‘C’ workers is Rs. 12,590 per month

Wage Revised After Taking Permission From EC

The state government issued the order to increase the minimum wage of the workers of the state after taking permission from the Election Commission.  The development comes at a time when the Lok Sabha elections are going on in the country in seven phases. The last phase of elections will be held on June 1 and the election results will be declared on June 4.
