Raipur: In a piece of good news for lakhs of workers, the Chhattisgarh government on Wednesday increased minimum wages of the workers of the state. The Labour Department of the Chhattisgarh Government has issued an order in this regard and said the revised wage of the workers will be applicable from April 1, 2024.
As per the revised wages, the unskilled workers will now get Rs 10,900, semi-skilled workers will get Rs. 11,500, skilled workers will get Rs 12,330 and highly skilled workers will get Rs 13,110 per month.
The minimum wage of the workers is also available on the official website of the Labor Department www.cglabour.nic.in .

The state government issued the order to increase the minimum wage of the workers of the state after taking permission from the Election Commission. The development comes at a time when the Lok Sabha elections are going on in the country in seven phases. The last phase of elections will be held on June 1 and the election results will be declared on June 4.
