Mumbai-Pune Travel Time To Slash By 20-30 Mins As Bhor Ghat Railway Line Set For Major Upgrade; Check Details

Central Railway has announced two special train services connecting Mumbai and Ayodhya to address the rising passenger requirements. These services aim to accommodate the surge in travelers commuting between the two cities. With increased demand for transportation between Mumbai and Ayodhya, the introduction of these special trains is a strategic move by Central Railway to enhance passenger convenience and streamline travel operations.

CSMT-Ayodhya Specials

  • Train 01019: This special train will depart from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus, Mumbai at 23:20 on Thursday, August 29, 2024, and will arrive at Ayodhya Cantt at 09:30 on the third day.
  • Train 01020: This special train will leave Ayodhya Cantt at 23:40 on Saturday, August 31, 2024, and is scheduled to reach Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus, Mumbai at 08:15 on the third day.

Stops: The trains will halt at Kalyan, Igatpuri, Bhusaval, Khandwa, Itarsi, Bhopal, Bina, Virangana Lakshimbai Jhansi, Orai, Kanpur, and Lucknow.

Train Composition: The trains will consist of 16 Sleeper Class coaches and 6 General Second Class coaches, including 2 Guard’s Brake vans.

Reservations: Bookings for Train 01019 will open on August 26, 2024, at 12:00 hrs. Reservations can be made at all computerized reservation centers and on the IRCTC website www.irctc.co.in.
