DA Hike: Good news for Government employees; order issued for 8 percent increase in dearness allowance

The increased DA will be included in the salary for November 2025.

New Delhi: Good news has once again come for government employees before the New Year. The government has announced a significant increase in dearness allowance (DA), giving all employees a significant boost. This has caused a wave of joy among employees.

The Haryana government has announced a dearness allowance for all government employees covered under the Fifth Pay Commission before the New Year. The government has increased the dearness allowance by 8 per cent. The revised DA rate has been increased from the current 466 per cent of the basic salary to 474 per cent. The increased DA will be implemented from July 2025. This means all employees will also receive five months’ arrears.

Order issued

An order in this regard has been issued by Chief Secretary Anurag Rastogi. The increased DA will be included in the salary for November 2025, while the arrears for July 2025 to October 2025 will be distributed in December 2025.
