It is more critical especially at this time of the coronavirus pandemic when all are completely dependent on digital transaction four day-to-day life. Hence, we need to keep the SBI ATM card carefully, otherwise losing it can become a nightmare. In case, you lose the SBI ATM or debit card, how to get a fresh one? What to do to block if you lose or misplace it? SBI Card, in a tweet, informed customers the steps to take in case one loses their debit card.

“Blocking and Reissuance of your Debit Card has become simple. Just dial our Toll-Free numbers from your Registered Mobile Number, Block the card & request for Reissue. Toll free numbers: 1800 112 211 or 1800 425 3800,” the SBI said in a tweet.

According to SBI, cutomers, who lost their SBI ATM or debit card, can request for the re-issue through official website and mobile app apart from calling on the helpline number 1800 425 3800.

Follow these steps:

1. Visit the official website sbicard.com
2. Click on the ‘Request’ button
3. Then need to click on ‘Reissue/Replace Card’
4. Select the card number
5. Click ‘Submit’ button

Follow steps for reissue of SBI debit card:

1. Log in to sbicard mobile app
2. Tap on the ‘Menu tab’ at the top left hand
3. Tap on ‘Service Request’
4. Tap on ‘Reissue/Replace Card’
5. Select the card number
6. Tap on ‘Submit’
