Honor 7X smartphone

Mumbai, December 5: Smartphone maker Huawei will launch its much-anticipated Honor 7X smartphone for India on Tuesday. The launch of the new smartphone will begin at 8 PM. The long-awaited smartphone will be announced for India at the Honor V10 global launch event tonight. The phone scheduled to go on sale officially from December 7 on e-commerce major Amazon India platform at 12 PM. However, the company is currently accepting registrations only for the Honor 7X on Amazon India.

The Honor 7X smartphone features a large 18:9 display and its dual rear camera setup. It comes with a duo of 16-megapixel and 2-megapixel rear cameras and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. Honor 7X has a 5.93-inch FHD+ resolution display with 18:9 aspect ratio.

The phone comes in three storage variants: 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB where all of these variants support expandable storage via microSD card (up to 256GB). The connectivity features include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 LE, and GPS/ A-GPS. The Honor 7X smartphone is powered by Huawei’s own Kirin 659 processor and features a 3340mAh battery and runs on Android 7.0 Nougat.

Honor 7X smartphone is already available in China and price for the 32GB variant was 1299 Yuan which is about Rs 12,900, while the 64GB variant was priced at 1700 Yuan which comes to about Rs 17,000. However, users expect the company to stick to a similar pricing even for the new phone. Huawei claims to have almost doubled shipments of Honor smartphones in India this year as compared to 2016. In a bid to lure customers, Amazon is offering exciting prizes for customers who register to purchase the smartphone through its channel. The prizes include 7 free trips with a maximum worth of Rs 75,000, 10 Honor 7X smartphones, 150 power banks and 850 sets of earphones respectively.
