Reliance Industries Limited has launched Jio World Plaza, a new retail and entertainment destination in Mumbai’s Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC). Opening to the public on November 1, the plaza is located near the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre, Jio World Convention Centre, and Jio World Garden, creating a one-stop hub for shopping, dining, and leisure.

Mumbai also gets its first stores of Valentino, Tory Burch, YSL, Versace, Tiffany, Ladurée, and Pottery Barn. Other flagship stores include well-known brands like Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Cartier, Bally, Dior, and Bulgari.

The plaza will feature India’s largest Louis Vuitton store and Dior’s first menswear outlet. Additionally, actress Alia Bhatt’s kidswear brand, Ed-A-Mamma, will have a special pop-up store. It will also showcase Indian designer collections from Manish Malhotra, Abu Jani-Sandeep Khosla, Rahul Mishra, Falguni and Shane Peacock, and Ritu Kumar, among others.

Jio World Plaza inspired by the lotus flower

The design of Jio World Plaza (JWP) is inspired by the lotus flower and other natural elements. This vision was realized through a collaboration between the prestigious US-based architecture firm TVS and the Reliance team. The shopping concourse is adorned with sculptural columns, which create a sense of visual continuity throughout the space. The marble floors, high vaulted ceilings, and soft lighting combine to form a luxurious atmosphere.

Led by Isha Ambani, JWP focuses on providing an exceptional customer experience. Visitors are greeted by a contemporary sculpture by Jitish Kallat on the first level. The third level offers a range of entertainment options, including a multiplex theater, a gourmet food emporium, and world-class restaurants. The Plaza also provides services like personal shopping assistance, VIP concierge, taxi-on-call, wheelchair services, hands-free shopping, baggage drop, butler service, and baby strollers to ensure a seamless and luxurious experience for shoppers.
